Our History

The Felician Sisters, a community founded by Blessed Angela Truszkowska, responded to the invitation to staff Nativity Catholic School. On July 19, 1996, Sister Lisa Marie DiSabatino, Principal, and Sister Marie Victoria, Pastoral Minister, arrived in Burke, Virginia. On August 16, 1996, Sister Therese Marie Bednarczyk arrived to teach in the school.

The doors of Nativity Catholic School opened for the first time on August 26, 1996. During the 2016-2017 school year, Nativity celebrated its twentieth anniversary. Let us pray that Nativity Catholic School will continue to provide our parish community with an opportunity for a Catholic education rich in academics and rooted in the gospel values.
