This scholarship program is named for Kathy Davis who was a longtime parishioner of The Church of the Nativity. Mrs. Davis was devoted to sharing the gifts that God had graced upon her and her family through her tireless work with community service projects. She helped to better the lives of Nativity Parish’s underprivileged and many others in her native country of Ireland. In honor of her legacy, the recipient of this scholarship must participate in twenty hours of community service specifically written in the essay during the school year. The recipient and his or her family will have the services of a volunteer mentor appointed by Nativity Church to assist with planning and completing the community service project. By May 12, 2018, the recipient must submit a one to two-page summary on the community service project and what the experience meant to him or her. This summary will be shared with the entire Nativity Catholic School and Church communities in promoting the scholarship program.
To be considered for the scholarship, the application and supporting documents must be hand-delivered or postmarked on or before April 16th, 2018.
